Over the years as an Irish designer I have made many glass commissions, in both stained glass and fused glass and frequently both glass techniques together.
The following is a pretty random selection of some of the pieces that I remembered to get photographed. Often, in the excitement of installation, I'd be more worried about whether it fitted and looked good, rather than photographing it.
Most of these pieces are fused glass. Just the first one 'Watching Her Dance' , has used stained glass methods. The 'Grim Creeper' is a fused glass sculpture, and depicts Alzheimer's advancing on my mother.
'Lilies' is a traditional stained glass (or leaded light) panel. The others are fused glass put together with stained glass methods.
The bicycle wheel was a wedding present and a fun project, but very fiddly to make, with all the different angles and the desire to make the piece look cohesive rather than a load of different pieces thrown together.
